Graphik Masters recently designed and produced an
interpretative museum display in the New Freedom Railroad Freight
Station along the York County Parks Rail Trail.
Accumulated researched material, historical documents,
photos and artifacts combine to create a colorful, informative look
into the railroad's importance to the local community and surrounding
area. The display's focal point is a 50-foot mural of a PRR K-4
steam locomotive, complete with interactive sound. This project,
consummating almost a year’s worth of work, is one of the
largest and most enjoyable we have created to date.
To promote our 3-D capabilities, Graphik Masters
created a display consisting of brilliantly colored whimsical bugs
and flowers. The display, exhibited at several South Central Pennsylvania
business shows, has received rave reviews. The bugs' bodies were
created from urethane foam on a CNC router and include hand formed
PVC wings, assembled and airbrushed in iridescent colors. The flowers
are hand cut from PVC, heat-formed to shape and airbrushed in vibrant
colors. This creative project, involving many
hours of work, highlights what we the artists at Graphik Masters,
enjoy doing most.
